MDMA‐assisted psychotherapy could be useful in the treatment of disorders associated with attachment insecurities, including PTSD, depression, anxiety disorders, obsessive‐compulsive disorder, suicidality, substance use disorders, and eating disorders. With piXelTC we want to bring attention to the topic and with a part of the raised funds we want to support researchers!
Many people suffer from some form of a mental disorder. The COVID-19 pandemic made it worse, inducing a wide range of psychological responses, including fear, anxiety, traumatic stress, and depression. Disorders for which established drugs have insufficient effect. MDMA (and other psychedelics) could be a game changer. We want to explore the possibilities.
MDMA-assisted psychotherapy could help heal the psychological and emotional damage caused by sexual assault, war, violent crime, and other traumas. But there is not too much research yet. On one hand we want to bring more attention to the topic and on the other hand, with the collected donations, we want to help research get a little further.
All pixel art illustrations for our project are handmade by our artists, every single layer, every shape, every motive and yes, every background aswell. Many, many hours of work were put in these. Absolutely no stock footage, no stolen graphics, no bs.
We decided to set the mint price relatively low so that the barrier to enter our project is as low as possible while we are still be able to develop the project and collect donations for MAPS.
Our Team of Artists, Dean and Timothy, created way more than 9999 possible XTC pill variations. We picked the 4.444 most precious pills for the NFT drop.
Collectible NFTs normally come with rarities - our piXelTC are coming in 5+ different dosages. Start small, never take the whole pill!
More than 100 hours of work were put in the design of our piXelTC pills. Many more hours were spent to create the idea and the concept.
We actually want to support the research behind MDMA. That's why a minimum of 10 % of the revenue will go to MAPS.
